Tracing of debtors

Sometimes debtors abscond or a business has moved  without giving any forwarding information.

Our office has access to the Belgian national population database and can immediately find the new address of a debtor.

Another useful tool is the Central Registration of seizures database, showing all the seizures and/or restraints performed by all Belgian bailiffs against private persons and companies in Belgium.

These database consultations are giving us a better picture of the debtors’  solvency, allowing for a better assessment of the risk of legal proceedings against the debtor.
